A practical, hands-on day where you'll work through your own numbers to calculate your income target, savings requirement, business revenue target and the milestones you need to hit before you resign.

What You'll Build
This isn't a workshop where you sit and take notes.
Bring your business idea and a rough sense of your current numbers. I'll take you through the calculations step by step, so you can apply them to your own situation.
By the end of the day, you'll leave with:
1 - What your business cash flow plan
Work out your monthly business costs and the income your business needs to generate — built on your own numbers, not a generic example.
2 - Your personal income target
Calculate your personal monthly income requirement, rather than simply trying to replace your current salary, broken down into a clear monthly figure.
3 - How many clients or sales you actually need
Turn that income target into something tangible, based on your pricing, your offer, and what you can realistically achieve.
4 - How much you need to save to make the transition
Calculate how much you need to have saved, so you know your number before you hand in your notice.
5 - What needs to happen before you resign
Identify the milestones you want to hit before you resign, and a clear view of whether your business is financially ready - and what still needs work.
6 - Your 90 day action plan
Specific steps to work on next, while you're still employed.
You won't leave with well meaning reassurance that it'll all work out. You'll leave with the numbers behind the decision and the confidence that comes from actually understanding them.

About Me

I'm Carol Glynn - a Chartered Accountant, ICF-trained coach and former Regional CFO.
I've spent more than two decades working with numbers, businesses and people - including senior finance roles where I was responsible for multi-billion-dollar P&Ls and teams across multiple countries.
But I've also worked with women who are trying to build something of their own.
I've seen how often the financial uncertainty becomes the thing that keeps a woman in a job long after she knows she wants to leave.
Not because she isn't capable.
Not because she doesn't believe in her idea.
Because she doesn't know what needs to be true financially before she can make the move.
I created this workshop to answer that question.
